• Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
  • 1.6 km run: Group I (5 min 30 sec, 60 marks), Group II (5 min 45 sec, 48 marks).
  • Pull-ups: 6–10 (marks vary).
  • 9 feet ditch jump and zig-zag balance (qualifying).

Selection Process

1. Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE):
   • Format: Computer-Based Test (CBT), objective-type (MCQs).
   • Subjects: General Knowledge (15 questions, 30 marks), General Science (15 questions, 30 marks), Mathematics (15 questions, 30 marks), Logical Reasoning (5 questions, 10 marks).
   • Total: 50 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes.
   • Passing Marks: 32 (UR/EWS/OBC), 27 (SC/ST).
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
   • Syllabus:
     • General Knowledge: Indian history, geography, sports, current affairs, awards.
     • General Science: Class 8-level physics, chemistry, biology (human body, diseases).

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

   • Tests running, pull-ups, ditch jump, and balance, along with height/chest/weight measurements.
3. Document Verification:

4. Medical Examination:

Salary

• Yearly Package (Agniveer Tradesman):
  • 1st Year: ₹30,000/month (~₹21,000 in-hand, ₹9,000 to Seva Nidhi).
  • 2nd Year: ₹33,000/month (~₹23,100 in-hand, ₹9,900 to Seva Nidhi).
  • 3rd Year: ₹36,500/month (~₹25,550 in-hand, ₹10,950 to Seva Nidhi).
  • 4th Year: ₹40,000/month (~₹28,000 in-hand, ₹12,000 to Seva Nidhi).
• Seva Nidhi Package: ₹11.7 lakh (tax-free) after 4 years, including candidate and government contributions.
• Additional Benefits: Risk & Hardship Allowances, Dress Allowance, Travel Allowance, ₹48 lakh life insurance cover. No pension, but top 25% may apply for permanent enrollment.
